PETERKA & PARTNERS Ukraine represented the Client, that supplies equipment to the chemical and refining industries, in a customs case on the alleged violation of customs rules when importing industrial equipment into the territory of Ukraine.
Our legal services included preparation of all of the necessary documentation and representation of the client in the court proceedings.
The court of first instance and the court of appeals have taken decisions in favour of our client – the proceedings were closed due to the fact that neither the event nor a violation of customs rules occurred.
Consequently, the industrial equipment was not confiscated and no fine imposed on the Client.
