Recently, our litigation team advised a Client on an environmental case. The case involved soil contamination resulting from leak in the underground oil tank located at the property held by the Client under lease contract.
It was necessary to establish when the contamination took place to decide if we are dealing with historical or actual soil contamination and, based on provided facts, determine the entity liable for the environmental damage caused.
