PETERKA & PARTNERS Romania, with the support of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Romania, organized a business breakfast and seminar entitled “Compliance challenges. New AML Rules in Romania” on 21 November in Bucharest.
The opening speech was given by Mr. Rudolf Opatřil, Economic Counsellor at the Czech Embassy in Romania. Afterwards, the speakers at the event were **Ms. Cosmina Aron – Partner and Director of PETERKA & PARTNERS Romania and Ms. Ioana Savan – Senior Associate and Leader of the Compliance and Regulatory Practice.
During this successful seminar, our team provided the attendees with a better understanding of the “compliance” concept, as well as of the importance of having “regulatory compliance” as one of the main principles upon which their businesses are conducted. Another hot topic which contributed to the success of this event was the information about novelties in AML legislation in Romania.
