PETERKA & PARTNERS has assisted a well-known food delivery company in Hungary in their competition law and consumer protection law related issues. The consumer protection case included the preparation of a response to the consumer complaint after which the consumer revoked the complaint.
With regard to the competition law case, PETERKA & PARTNERS Hungary has successfully convinced the Hungarian Competition Authority, that the case shall be transferred to the relevant Consumer Protection Authority (a lower level authority, where the amount of imposable fines are significantly lower). This latter case is still pending.
