This week, the Prague office of PETERKA & PARTNERS held the workshop “The GDPR and the Risk of Doing Business in Cyberspace”. Considering the GDPR does not come into force until 25 May, the interest in the workshop surpassed our expectations, and for this reason we organized two workshops. Adéla Krbcová, Partner and Deputy Director for the Czech Republic and Pavel Jakab, Senior Associate, spoke about the main implications of the new regulation and answered all of the workshop attendees’ questions. The second part of the event, “Doing Business in Cyberspace”, was covered by our guest, Josef Majer, a cyber-risk specialist from the company MARSH.
