On 15 September 2022, PETERKA & PARTNERS, was a content partner of the “Agro&Food Security Forum. Grains, Oilseeds, Pulses”. The event, co-organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, usually takes place in Kyiv and is the biggest annual event in the industry. This year, however, it was Warsaw that had the opportunity to host.
Marcin Kryszko, Senior Associate of the Polish office of PETERKA & PARTNERS, and Leader of the firm’s Polish Desk was a speaker during the event. His presentation “Relocating your business to Poland: Legal matters” covered corporate and tax issues including:
• Forms of doing business by foreign entrepreneurs in Poland, including Ukrainian entrepreneurs;
• Employment of foreigners;
• Regulatory aspects/permits for conducting business, those typically necessary in the food industry.
The forum was supported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland.
