The PETERKA & PARTNERS Warsaw office advised the Danish group FALCK on the sale of 100 per cent of its shares in Falck Medical Centers sp. z o.o., which also included the subsidiary company Starówka sp. z o.o., to PZU Zdrowie. The transaction was finalized at the beginning of June this year, after obtaining the consent of the President of UOKIK to effect the concentration. This is one of the largest transactions on the Polish medical services market.
The transaction was preceded by the division of Falck Medycyna Spółka z o.o., involving the separation of medical centres run by Falck Medical into the new company Falck Medical Centers. PETERKA & PARTNERS advised on the legal matters related to the separation and was responsible, inter alia, for the preparation of the plan for the division.
