Barbora focuses on commercial law, with a strong emphasis on complex litigation and arbitration, including cross-border disputes. She is a key figure in the firm’s Litigation & Insolvency practice and also leads the firm’s ESG practice, advising companies on ESG-related compliance and governance topics.Her experience includes representing major clients in commercial disputes before courts and arbitral tribunals as well as in labour disputes, and supporting clients on broader compliance matters linked to corporate operations and risk, including the implementation of whistleblowing channels and internal investigations.
Barbora is a Partner and Director of PETERKA PARTNERS Czech Republic, and has held senior leadership roles in the Prague office, including co-management as Partner and Deputy Director and subsequent appointment as Director. She manages the Prague office with her Co-Director, Adéla Krbcová.
In contentious matters, Barbora has advised and represented major clients in high-stakes, technically complex proceedings, including ICC and UNCITRAL arbitrations for the Municipality of Sofia and Stolichen Elektrotransport EAD, as well as in a series of Czech court litigations and arbitration for MORAVSKÁ VODÁRENSKÁ a.s. (Veolia Group). She also represents a Czech subsidiary of the Atlas Copco Group in arbitration proceedings against its supplier.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce, which enables her to contribute actively to strengthening business ties between France and the Czech Republic and to help shape initiatives supporting investment, trade, and cross-border cooperation.
