Hana focuses on administrative and court proceedings (representation in proceeding before the tax office, including inspections of subsidies to tax subjects, and tax litigation), tax advisory, EU law, criminal law (especially economic crime and the criminal liability of legal entities), and real estate law (legal and tax audits of real estate, representation in administrative and building permitting proceedings, and negotiations with the cadastral office).Prior to joining the firm in August 2010, Hana worked as a lawyer at Allen & Overy, as a tax dispute specialist in KPMG, and as a consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers’s tax and legal department. Since 2013, Hana has been an external consultant of PETERKA PARTNERS (Of Counsel), especially in the field of tax disputes.
Hana publishes in Czech and foreign journals (e.g., Euro, Bulletin of Advocacy, Tax Expert, Taxes and Law in Practice, Accounting in Practice, Bulletin of the Chamber of Tax Advisors, International Tax Review, and Taxation and Accounting) and is the author of the book International Tax Relationships (Wolter Kluwer, 2016, 3rd edition) and co-author of the book Taxation of Income of Individuals and Legal Entities (Wolters Kluwer, 2018, 3rd edition). Hana also gives lectures at various universities.
As a a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) she has been appointed national reporter for the Czech Republic for the years 2013, 2014, and 2015.
In the "Tax & Tax Company of the Year", competition, she was elected "Tax Star" in the field of international taxation in 2011, 2015, and 2016, and was included in the "Tax Office of Dreams" in 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
