Professional Background

Petr is specialized in banking and financial law and also in mergers and acquisitions. He is the Leader of the Banking and Finance practice at PETERKA PARTNERS.
He advises various Czech and foreign banks and financial institutions in regulatory, transactional and other legal matters, in particular Komerční banka.
Before joining the firm, Petr cooperated with the law firm PRK Partners, and worked for Česká finanční s.r.o., a subsidiary of the Czech National Bank. He was also a vice-chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Ekoagrobanka, a.s., from 1997 until 1999.
