Professional Background

Magda focuses mainly on competition law and the representation of clients before the Office for the Protection of Competition. She is an experienced manager and coordinator of international projects, mainly acquisitions and restructuring processes. Magda is the Leader of the Antitrust and Competition practice at PETERKA PARTNERS.
Magda has provided, among others, legal assistance to Nordic Partners in the acquisition of Hamé group (€200 million), Finnish company specialized in packaging for food in the acquisition of Czech manufacturer of flexible packaging foils and labels, and IVECO S.p.A. in the acquisition of the Czech truck dealer KOMERSIA AUTO s.r.o. and its subsidiary KOMERSIA WEST (CZK 50 million).
Prior to joining the firm, Magda worked as lawyer at the Office for the Protection of Competition where she participated in the drafting of an amendment to the Act on the Protection of Competition.
