Karol specializes in civil litigation, with a focus on commercial and consumer disputes.As a member of the litigation department, he advises on civil law matters both at the pre-litigation stage and before courts of all instances, with a particular emphasis on contractual claims, including representing airlines. He is involved in developing litigation strategies, drafting pleadings, conducting regulatory analysis, and preparing legal opinions.
Prior to joining the firm, Karol worked for several years in the litigation and arbitration teams of international law firms in Warsaw. During that time, he advised entrepreneurs in civil and commercial disputes, including security proceedings, both on the side of the entity seeking security and on the side of the party defending against the security. His experience also includes advising a major e-commerce company in relation to labour disputes. He gained practical experience in all levels of common courts, as well as in cooperation with boutique law firms, NGOs and central institutions. His experience also includes managing and co-leading numerous administrative proceedings on immigration law and preparing applications to the European Court of Human Rights. Karol has also worked in Athens, Greece, assisting Greek lawyers with immigration and international protection cases.
