Professional Background

Markéta focuses mainly on civil, commercial law, and litigation. Her core area of expertise is family law and cross-border litigation. She regularly assists French clients in CEE and CEE-based clients in need of legal assistance in France. She coordinates several cross-border litigations and real estate acquisitions abroad.
She is the Leader of the Family and Inheritance Law practice and the French Desk at PETERKA PARTNERS.
Markéta began working with the firm in 2004, however, from 2007 to 2009, she was the head of the Office of the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic in Brussels, where she obtained vast experience in public administration and lobbying. After this, Markéta resumed her cooperation with PETERKA PARTNERS in the autumn of 2009 and remains part of the team.
