Professional Background

András is a qualified English-language and German-language legal translator, enabling him to deal with a wide variety of clients communicating in those two languages, especially in areas of law that have gained momentum in the last decade, including data protection law and e-commerce and e-marketing law.
András was appointed Partner and Director for Hungary in September 2019. He is also the Leader of the E-Commerce Law practice at PETERKA PARTNERS.
He deals with traditional practice areas, such as intellectual property law (with a special focus on trademarks), labour law, real estate law, corporate law and advising clients on commercial contracts, and public procurement proceedings. András is a member of several of the firm’s practices, with a focus on general compliance and regulatory, data protection, intellectual property, litigation and insolvency, real estate and general commercial and distribution; he is also a member of the German Desk practice at the firm.
Before joining the firm, András advised clients on several M&A transactions, including cross-border mergers, domain names, and also in proceedings before the Hungarian Competition Authority.
