Jiří has been with the firm since the establishment of the firm and became an Equity Partner in 2001. Currently, he is the Leader of the Litigation and Insolvency practice at PETERKA PARTNERS.
In his litigation and arbitration practice, Jiří has represented clients operating in a wide range of sectors, such as banking, construction, machinery, automotive, professional services, and luxury and retail.
In banking and finance matters, Jiří has represented several Czech banks in a number of cases including litigation related to defaulting export loans in Russia, Ukraine, and Slovakia.
Jiří has been repeatedly listed as a recommended lawyer in the litigation area by Chambers Europe.
Jiří was also acknowledged by the World Bank for his long-term co-operation on the Doing Business project.
