Professional Background

Cosmina has vast experience in several practice areas, such as commercial law, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, employment, real estate, construction and development, leasing, taxation and insolvency. She assists a wide array of leading international companies active in different business sectors, with various issues (including multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions operations) as well as on various day-to-day legal matters.
She was appointed Partner and Director for Romania in October 2012. Cosmina is the Leader of the Italian Desk at PETERKA PARTNERS. She is a member of several of the firm's practices focusing on antitrust and competition, real estate, retail and luxury, and e-commerce law. She is also a member of the French Desk at PETERKA PARTNERS.
Cosmina has assisted an international group specialized in the production of luxury goods in connection with the acquisition and subsequent sale of a local factory in Romania. She has also advised an international group specializing in cereal processing in connection with a joint venture aimed at developing the corn production business in Romania. Another project in which Cosmina was involved is the acquisition of a sugar mill in Romania by a leading French sugar producer.
Before joining the firm, Cosmina cooperated with the Bucharest offices of Gide Loyrette Nouel and Firon Bar-Nir (Europe) LTD and coordinated the Bucharest office of Jinga si Asociatii SCA.
