PETERKA & PARTNERS, with the great support of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Romania, held a seminar dedicated to the General Data Protection Regulation, on February 27, at the premises of the Embassy in Bucharest.
The seminar was held by Ms. Ioana Sebestin, Deputy Director, and Mr. Andrei Dumitrescu, Associate, of PETERKA & PARTNERS Romania, who provided the attendees with a better understanding of this new EU Regulation which enters into force on 25 May 2018. The opening speech was given by His Excellency Mr. Vladimír Války, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Romania, and we were also honoured by the presence of Mr. Milan Peprník, Minister-Counsellor, Head of the Economic Section, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Romania. Essential information about the Regulation, as well as the changes it brings to the data protection domain, were included in the presentation.
