PETERKA & PARTNERS provided customs advisory services to a US leading cosmetics company producing eyelash and eyebrow products. The incorrect classification of goods declared by the importer resulted in additional customs duty at the rate of 25% upon importation to the EU. PETERKA & PARTNERS assisted in making new submissions in order to reclassify the goods to a different tariff code. Firstly, the customs duty was refunded by the Czech Customs Office in full.
